Day 1: Arrival (Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha)
Our representative will meet you at Kilimanjaro International Airport and will escort you to your accommodation in Arusha where you will stay one night. As local Tanzanians, our guides know the country with unrivaled familiarity, so you’ll be in good hands from the moment you land to the moment you leave. Transfer to Arusha is about a one-and-a-half-hour drive.

Day 2: Serengeti National Park (Overnight in Serengeti)
In the morning, you wake up to a lovely African breakfast and thereafter will be transferred to Arusha airport in which you will catch a mini airplane departing to Serengeti National Park. Once you arrive, you will be greeted by our knowledgeable and welcoming Safari Guide. You will then head to the lodge that you will be staying at for a nice hot lunch and a rest before embarking on your first “Game Drive” of the trip later that afternoon. In the evening, you will return to the lodge to enjoy a peaceful campfire and indulge in dinner and drinks if you so wish. 

Day 3: Serengeti National Park (Overnight in Serengeti)
Enjoy the sounds of the morning birds or quite possibly a lion’s roar as you wake up in the incredible Serengeti National Park. After breakfast, we will depart for a full-day game drive in this iconic land. The Serengeti offers everyday opportunities to spot Tanzania’s most impressive wildlife—including big cats— and witness dramatic moments of the Great Migration of wildebeest and zebras. We will head back to the lodge in the early evening to enjoy the beautiful sunset over the Serengeti plains and celebrate this beautiful moment with a champagne celebration and campfire. Dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Serengeti Sunrise & Olduvai Gorge Museum (Overnight in Ngorongoro)
We will leave the lodge early in the morning with a packed breakfast to catch the miraculous sunrise of the Serengeti as we game drive through these quiet hours of the wild and to see the Crepuscular animals in action. After, we will drive back to the lodge for a hot lunch, refreshments, and a rest before departing for the Ngorongoro Conservation area via the Olduvai Gorge Museum. This museum is the site of the earliest evidence of human existence. You will see bones of early humans and animals, and artifacts of around 2 million years old. After, you will continue to your lodge in the Ngorongoro Conservation area. Enjoy the amenities of the lodge for the evening as you relax until sundown. Dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater (Overnight in Karatu)
After breakfast, we will make our way to one of the World’s Natural Wonders; Ngorongoro Crater. We will descend the crater and our game drive will take place on the ancient volcanic crater floor, which has the highest concentration of animals in all of Africa. Here you will have the chance to see the endangered black rhino, lions feasting on their prey, African buffalos, wildebeest, and more. After a full day of game driving, we will make our way to the town of Karatu for another evening of relaxing, eating, and overnight at the lodge. This will be your last evening with your Safari Guide and when you can arrange for any gratuities if you so wish. 

Day 6: Transfer to Zanzibar Island (Overnight in Stone Town)
After breakfast, you will be transferred from your lodge to the Manyara Airstrip where you will catch a flight to Zanzibar island. This is when you will say your lovely goodbye’s to your Aloha Africa Safari guide and prepare any gratuities if you so wish. On arrival on Zanzibar Island, you will be picked up and transferred to a hotel in Stone Town where you will stay one night. After lunch and a rest, you will have the chance to explore Stone Town’s labyrinth of narrow streets, its historical buildings, and the many souvenir and spice markets it has to offer. Enjoy the sunset over the Indian Ocean and visit the famous Forodhani Street Food Garden which has an abundance of local Zanzibari food. You will be transferred back to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Zanzibar (Nungwi or Jambiani)
After a relaxing breakfast, you will be transferred from your hotel in Stone Town to your hotel in Nungwi or Jambiani (about a 1.5-hour drive), where you will be staying for the remainder of your trip. These areas of Zanzibar are famous for their pristine white sand beaches, water-sport activities, and nightlife. You will be able to organize excursions and activities that you would like to take part in, or simply relax and enjoy the hotel amenities and the beautiful beaches that Zanzibar has to offer! All meals will be served at the hotel.

Day 8: Zanzibar (Safari Blue Excursion)
You will be picked up from your hotel in the morning and embark on the famous Safari Blue excursion. You will take a boat out to where you can snorkel in the clear waters of the reef, and you will make your way to a beautiful hidden sandbank in the middle of the ocean. You will have a fresh seafood lunch on this incredible “island” that is surrounded by pristine turquoise waters. This is truly an excursion of a lifetime! Afterwards, you will be dropped off at your hotel for dinner & overnight.

Day 9-13: Zanzibar (Nungwi or Jambiani)
Free day to relax by the pool, explore the beaches or take part in any water-sport activities and excursions. The hotel can arrange any activities or answer questions that you may have. All meals will be served at the hotel. 

Day 14: Departure (Nungwi/Jambiani – Stone town)
You will be picked up from your hotel at a suitable time and transferred to Zanzibar Airport to await your flight departure home or on to your next destination.
